A-rated homes will have the lowest energy bills and is likely to be much warmer than a house with a lower rating, making it much more appealing to buyers. 2.   Stage your home

Simple things like decluttering rooms, making the beds and setting the dining table will help you to present your home in the best light. You might also wish to consider giving the rooms a fresh coat of paint in neutral colours such as magnolia or white before viewings begin.
